MiNT E1130 - WiMAX™ Signalling Unit
MiNT E1130 emulates either a 802.16-2005
BS or MS and records the messages transferred between the unit and the
device under test. MAC and upper protocol layers can be defined by the
user, so invalid behaviours can be easily emulated or portions of the
stack can be bypassed, allowing testing of partial implementations.

MiNT E1130 has embedded channel emulation
capabilities, supporting the fading profiles selected by the WiMAX Forum®
for 802.16e.
MiNT E1130 has Radiated Performance
Testing (RPT) measurement capabilities according to the WiMAX Conformance
Test Specifications defined by the WiMAX Forum®.
Key Features:
- Software defined radio architecture,
allowing easy change between BS and MS roles and future evolutions
with the standard
- Embedded fading emulation, supporting
predefined (SUI, 3GPP, FDD) and customizable channel models
- Capable of supporting 2x2 MIMO by
means of two transceivers and antenna connectors, without the need of
additional hardware
- Upper layers simulated via TTCN-3
scripts
- MAC and PHY logging capabilities
- Supports TDD, H-FDD and FDD profiles
up to 10MHz channel bandwidth
- Frequency coverage: 2300-2700MHz,
3300-3900MHz
- Easy configuration and programming of
the signalling unit using an API
- Scalable architecture that allows a
coordinated operation of several signalling units, controlled using a
single API
