MiNT T223x - Protocol Conformance Test

MiNT T2230/1 Protocol Conformance Tester
(PCT) is the test platform developed by AT4 wireless and Aeroflex to test
WiMAX Mobile Stations (MiNT T2230) and Base Stations (MiNT T2231). MiNT
T2232 Network Conformance Tester (NCT) is developed by AT4 wireless for
Network Layer Protocols Testing of WiMAX. MiNT T223x has been designated
by the WiMAX Forum® for certification of WiMAX devices.
CT and AIME modes are available to
address the next two different applications:

- Development Testing (AIME)
- Conformance Testing (CT)
MiNT T223x PCT CT solution covers the
official test cases for certification of Base Stations (BS) and Mobile
Stations (MS) according to the validated ETSI conformance test cases.
MiNT T223x PCT AIME solution supports
testing of additional features and to run own developed test scripts.
MiNT T223x supports the initial profiles
defined by the WiMAX Forum:
- Profile 1A (MP01): 2.3GHz, 8.75MHz
- Profile 1B (MP02): 2.3GHz, 5MHz, 10MHz
- Profile 3A (MP05): 2.5GHz, 5MHz, 10MHz
- Profile 5AL (MP09), 5BL (MP10) and
5CL (MP12): 3.5GHz, 5MHz, 7MHz and 10MHz
The platform can support profiles in
other frequency bands and bandwidths.
All the variants described (AIME/CT,
T2230/T2231/T2232 and different Profiles) are SW based, so they are
supported using the same HW platform.
